The Second Annual Prom Fair was held March 3, 2007 from 9am-3pm at Virginia Wesleyan College in Norfolk, Virginia.  Our sincere thank you goes out to all of our volunteers who dedicated their day to helping young women find the perfect dress for Prom.  We are excited and pleased with the results of this year’s event.  Our partnership with the Macarthur Center Mall and many other corporate and individual sponsors helped make prom night a magical evening for girls throughout Hampton Roads.  The organization distributed 214 Gowns, and countless pairs of shoes, pieces of jewelry, makeup, and purses. 

We are very appreciative of all the help and support we have received throughout the year from both our corporate and individual sponsors. A special thank you goes out to all of our 59 volunteers.  We could not meet our goal without you and your help.  We would like to thank the following groups and businesses for helping Prom Fair 2006 be a successful event; Alpha Kappa Alpha Alumni chapter, Coastal Fitness, Cuisine & Co. Catering, Farm Fresh, Norfolk Chapter of Les Gemmes, Inc, The Glass Slipper, Surf Rider Grill and Tiffany’s Bridal by Maya.  We would also like to thank Margie & Cathy Watson for being the seamstresses of the day!
